Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR) at The Kissed Peach

As we age, we go through pregnancy, give birth, or have changes in hormone levels. We experience changes in ourselves, and not all of these changes are welcome. Thankfully, there have been an increased number of ways to improve how we age. Skin creams, hormone replacement, Botox, laser treatments, and surgery are options that help us have some control. An area that has often been overlooked or not talked about is how our vaginas change.

It is past time we change that and take a look at how we can regain vaginal confidence. We now know there are many factors that affect us in our most intimate areas, from our diets and lifestyles to life changes. Vaginal changes can affect many aspects of how we see ourselves, ranging from the look of our external appearance to incontinence, tightness, and vaginal dryness. Do you laugh or cough and leak? While that might just be one of the many issues that can be addressed with non surgical vaginal rejuvenation, but it is not the only one.

So what is vaginal rejuvenation? Simply put, it is a range of surgical and nonsurgical treatments that can help with issues we have with our vagina. Today we will go over a non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation treatment option involving a laser. At The Kissed Peach, we offer this nonsurgical option to our guests.

Laser vaginal rejuvenation (LVR) can help with many of the internal vaginal issues, such as dryness, incontinence, and tightness, that may affect our lives and self-esteem. The Kissed Peach’s treatments are outpatient and do not require long, painful healing surgeries, and the Kissed Peach team will have you on the road to vaginal esteem in no time. Vaginal lasers heat the vaginal epithelium and cause collagen remodeling and synthesis. This may lead to improved vaginal elasticity and restoration of bladder control, end dryness, reform the vaginal channel, and help tighten the vagina.

The process is simple. We start by adding a numbing cream and lubricant to help with any discomfort and prepare the laser for treatment. The laser is slowly inserted in the vagina, and there is some pressure and fullness associated with this part being relaxed, but it is not as painful as foreign. The laser is a cylinder attachment that has a plastic single-use protector. The laser thickness is not great; it could be compared to a thumb and should not cause any issues. The laser is guided in by slowly inserting itself into the vagina by following numbered measurements while being rotated fully around in a 360-degree rotation, treating all areas of the vagina as it turns. After working the laser around and into the vaginal canal, the internal portion is complete. Next, the Kissed Peach experienced laser technician begins treatment of the outer vagina. This helps regain (or keep) the outer skin appearance.

There can be some discomfort in this process, but it is often more of a tingle than any other feeling. After-care instructions and a vaginal rejuvenation system are provided to speed up the healing process. There is a 7-day waiting period before sexual activities should begin, as well as not inserting objects for the same amount of time. It is recommended that the procedure be repeated two additional times, for a total of three, to gain maximum results. A wait time of 4-6 weeks is also required by The Kissed Peach between treatments. So does it work? You do not have to take our word for it; you can watch the testimonial video and schedule an appointment to see for yourself.

Remember at The Kissed Peach we care for down there.
